Now that we are finally out of the Mexican Theme, they drop you on the street of Vegas after a nice looking ride of helicopter. That’s where the real action begins. The terrorist are all over the place, (tons of them) and you need to clear your way to save hostage around the place with a weird background story.

The Strip

The Strip level seem an open level, but in fact when you consider it, it’s a linear level, so you just need to send your team on strategic position to advance slowly. With Grenade well placed you should be able to advance very well in the strip level of Rainbow Six Vegas. The main dangers are the heave machine gun and sniper at the end. I think one interesting thing I did in this level was to use smoke grenade when both my team member were down, this strategy allow you to gain sometime without getting shot at. And be carefully when you reach the interior.

The Calypso Casino

The Calypso Casino part is really fun and challenging, it’s full of cover of spot to to get cover from, and stuff to blow. So you must really advance tactically. When you reach the vault it can be a little tricky so use flanking tactical at much as possible and don’t advance too fast since the enemies will resist big time as you can see in this video.

Around 10 min there is a small cut right after I did a friendly fire, seem the computer disliked it and gave me a huge lag, so there is 2 sec missing. Right after that is the part I really enjoy a lot! You need to get up there and there is horde and horde of terrorist. That’s really Rainbow Six Vegas at his best

The Calypso Casino Floor

The Calypso Casino Floor, is a hard part in general, I remember the first time I made it, it’s was really hard. But now I must say that as long as you stay up on the second floor and cover your team it’s far easier. Once you cleared the floor you need to flank the last enemies by the small door I used, it makes it far easier to make it out alive.

The last part of this chapter, the Calypso Casino VIP Escort is not that hard. There is a small part of the level missing, where I used the windows to fire on the enemies. That can allow you to clear many of them. The second par can be more challenging since there is enemies on both floor
