A long time ago, I had recorded the full campaign of the video game Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for PC. It was all recorded at the hard difficulty. But unfortunately most of those episodes didn’t fit on youtube. So I could only publish 3 levels. At the time Google Video wasn’t as open as it is now and it could take a long time before you video finally made his way to be public. This mixed with the fact that my computer system totally bugged, well I lost most of what I had made. But still some episode actually survived, and here there are.

I’m actually very good at that game, even if I actually don’t enjoy it much because it ask a crazy computer to actually run it with a normal FPS. Also the coop is very, very repetitive, and as you can see by my still of playing, people in multiplayer, hated to play with me since I could take out all enemies, without them having to fire a single bullet…

Anyway I don’t play this game anymore, but I think you can enjoy my “Quake” way you play a “realistic” game.

I actually had many people telling me they really appreciated me recording this mission, since it’s a hard one and they were not able to finish it. (It’s always nice to know that you helped someone )

Here is the only mission that had a luminosity that had some realism (I really hated the luminosity in that game, was all yellow and weird), Ready to Bear. This mission also had some nice moment in it. So it’s my favorite. Mission, it’s also explosive =)

Here is one of the most annoying mission, you end up alone in a park… There is good reason why you should wonder what the hell were you doing in an helicopter alone?!

Anyway… It’s just an annoying mission, so note carefully how to win

Finally here is multiplayer I recorded a long time ago, I must say, recording and playing well, is a SERIOUS challenge in that game, since It’s laggy by default, so you can imagine while recording!

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is a “good” game overall. I had no expectation from it when I bought it. It was fun for a week, but I will never replace my “great” memory of the original Ghost Recon even if, by today standard, I would not play it since the gameplay of it, doesn’t meet my expectations anymore

I think that’s an interesting thing to know, some game are better in memories then in reality

Ghost Recon was mostly interesting because of the socialization tool the game had with the really bugged ubi. Today PC games don’t have such socialization tool and this is probably what makes them less enjoyable the older one.
