Hi @Attila16.
I think you've wrote a really fantastic information guide for all of us who doesn't know much about pc gaming. I'm a gamer from 6 years with a computer and I know a lot of things about PC. I feel like a PC Master also if I must increase my experience level. So, I make you my compliments to the guide and to the site project. But I think the guide must be rewrite again because we are in 2010 and we're getting better from our computers. So, check it out! soon ok?
Byeeee and Good luck with your project!

Alot of how well/smoothly your game runs, and how much you lag, is determined by the cpu processor. The ram determines it partially, but its mostly how fast your processor is.
A good graphics card is useless if you dont have a good processor to be able to process the images.

Acutally, the most important gaming part these days is the processing unit. While the graphics card is more vital to gameplay, most computers these days come with a very good card and theres nothing to worry about.

Most of the newer more powerful games require a min of approx 2+ GHz speed DUAL CORE processor. This means 2 ghz each core, or 4 ghz total. If you have only a single core in your comp, 2 ghz, or even 3 ghz wont be enough. Some of the newer processors, like the i5 or i7, only run at around 1.6 ghz each core, BUT they come with 4 cores. This gives a total of 6.4 ghz, which should be plenty for all games.
