Fallen Earth: Preview
I had to help dictator out with all his preview/reviews so here’s my preview for Fallen Earth: An MMOPG/FPS set in the post-apocalyptic American Grand-Canyon.
Here’s the written review for if you didn’t understand everything:
Fallen earth, no not fallout 3, fallen earth although they may look similar in some way fallen earth is an mmorpg-fps in the post apocalyptic American grand-canyon.
After a series of unfortunate events with viruses and nukes, the American Grand Canyon became one of the few liveable places left on earth.
You start off in a facility and discover that you’re actually a clone. These clones wear a necklace which gathers information and sends it to a database, when the clone dies a new clone is created and will remember everything what the previous clone experienced. It’s pretty original and finally a very good MMO explanation for reviving in cities. After destroying your own facility, you find out that your DNA is damaged and you’ll die soon if you don’t fix it that’s how you start off on the main quest.
Such as in every role playing game you can create your own character. You can chose your sex, face, hair and you have a load of options for tattoos and piercings. However the character creation is less detailed than I’m used to, you can’t adjust muscle mass meaning that all characters have the same torso size and you can’t have, for example slim characters. The preset faces all look kinda similar and only eye colour and tattoos will make your character’s face different from other players. I’m afraid there’s a great chance that you encounter a clone of yourself during your play.
Gameplaywise, the game plays like any other MMO, you go on quests, grind, level up, move on to the next city and continue the main quest.
The creators did put quite some time in building a detailed crafting and scavenging system. Through scavenging you find loot and then you can use this to craft weapons, armor, medicine and more for own or trading purposes. Your scavenging and crafting level up with exercising it or reading books. If you have a high scavenging level you will be able to scavenge better materials and that way craft better weapons.
The FPS perspective is original but also has some downsides for example in some places enemies can shoot through walls while you can’t fire back because there’s no auto lock. And surprisingly you miss your opponent a lot more fighting in melee than with guns. The good side is that your opponent has several weakness points to aim for, shooting an opponent in the face will do significally more damage than in the legs or torso, you can also take out enemies from afar with sniper rifles and even fire from your horse or motorcycle.
The creator’s main slogan is “Are you tired of elves, orcs and pixies?” and they’re right this MMO isn’t the usual fantasy world, more a fictional realistic post-apocalyptic world. Of course the game has big mutated monsters to fight but the weapons and many mounts like horses, motorcycles and cars are all very realistic.
The game has a classless system, you can give attribute points to skills like intelligence, guns, charisma and mutations which are mainly buffs. There are a decent amount of attributes so that you can set up a team of different players each with their own skills.
There are 6 factions you can join, each with their own allies and enemies, joining one will give you an increase in attribute points for the area they excel in but will make the enemy factions and probably also players who joined those factions, hostile to you.
The game does still has a lot of minor bugs but most of them are fixable. The company creating this game does not have any other games released, so I’m sure they will take their time to fix the bugs.
The fun thing with any MMO is the interaction with other players, the game provides several dances and events to interact with other players and make new friends. If you meet the right people or join a fun clan MMO’s like this can be loads of fun.
If you have always dreamed of playing a graphically strong MMOrpg/fps in a wasteland then Fallen Earth is your game. It will be released the 15th of September and will be 15 dollars a month.
The Works
Just a bunch of random video clips from various video games that I have taken over the past month. Hoping to make a video out of them one day. However I just decided to put them all together and add some music for your enjoyment.
Theramore: Scenic World of Warcraft
So I was questing in World of Warcraft one day, and decided to make a video of Theramore. So here you guys go. Also I think the music matches the video perfectly.
Pure Guild Wars Randomness
Whoo, we got BORED. Me and a friend were talking, and we decided that we should make a video of people dancing in their birthday suits on Guild Wars. Note how were on top a frozen mountain. =) Anyways, it’s not cool, it’s not big, but it’s just pure randomness.
Day of Defeat: Sniper
Hello, Frankoman here with another video. I hope to release a few more soon as well. For now though, here is a nice Sniping Video on Strand for you.
In this video, I get 131 kills in the span of about 2 minutes. The song lasts the whole 3 minutes, then there is a nice little surprise at the end. :D
This video was made to celebrate 100 subscribers. yay :D It is on a map called dod_Strand, which is the best and only D-Day Omaha map out there.
Enjoy the video, and to my subscribers, I kill each and every one of you once, and then some :)
World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Environmental Trailer
This is a compilation of the beautiful footage i have taken while playing through Outland in the World of Warcraft. This game is absolutely phenomenal- If you have not tried it, you are missing out on a fantastic experience and need to get the trial running- NOW! :)
Song Used:
System of a Down- Spiders
WarRock Death Zone
Hi guys, Frankoman here with some new, cool videos.
For starters, I was prompted by the DYG clan to get War Rock, and I am quite impressed. WarRock is a First person Shooter which takes place not too far in the future. An unnamed Civilization has fallen to rebellion, and it is your task to control either the Rebels or the Allies in this fun, fast paced Free FPS.
I enjoyed this game so much, I decided to make some videos on it. Each video is about a minute, since I myself am not a fan of watching someone die die die then kill a couple then die die die. So why not watch someone kill about 50 guys in 3 minutes? :)
This first video, my personal favorite, starts off my Death Zone series. I have been killed brutally, and must get revenge…
In this video, I was trying out a new editing technique of not adding transitions, and muting the sound. Also, with many things, I tried to co-ordinate the song and the video. You will notice right when the guy screams “GO”, I begin my killing spree, and get about 20 in this video. Then you will hear the guy say “It feels like I’m falling” and when that comes in, I shoot someone and they fall back, and after that “It feels like I am stumbling” I shoot a guy and he rolls to his death, almost like he tripped over his feet, and a couple other good ones. :)
This next one, I tried to go at a different technique from above. I tried to use the transitions, but there were some errors. Also, I enabled sound, but made it a tad quiet, so you can hear it, but the music rules all. there was some sound errors, so I don’t think I will be doing that again.
In this video, I again am hurt, this time twice, and each are pretty awesome. I thought that it would make a pretty awesome ending :P. I only kill about 13 in this one, since it was a short match, but it is pretty good. A thing I like about the ending, when I die my funny death, you see someone else come flying in, haha. Get ready to enjoy…
And finally, the conclusion to the three. I think you will love the way I die. How often do you play a match with hackers, and have THAT happen to you?
You know, as I think about it, in almost every match, there is always a funny or cool death. interesting.
Anyways, this video, I get shot off a cliff by a hacker. Damn hackers, I hate them. I’ll just get my revenge as accordingly :)
This one was on one of my favorite maps, so i was able to enjoy this one more and get more kills out of it. I had gotten about 30, but only put in 16 since a lot of them I died right after getting the kill, which isn’t fun to watch. I also got rid of the gun sound, but added transitions. They kind of went with the music, a little. I also added a small little thing, that I was exploring with. I had owned that guy when he tried surrendering. haha, poor fellow. He did make the papers though!
Well that concludes my War Rock Death Zone series. I will have more War rock videos though :)
I hope you enjoyed those videos, look forward to more in the future. Comments and constructive feedback are welcome (If you liked Transitions more, Gun sound etc) and just friendly comments are appreciated.
Tabula Rasa
Seem the NDA of Tabula Rasa was lifted so I guess I’m allow to post some videos of the game now. So here is a massive online multiplayer game in the future (for a change). Basically you are one of the few surviver of the earth invasion by some weird enemies and now using alien technology and a weird new power, you goal is to fight back. Enjoy :)

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Review
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Review by Schnitzelz

Ok, like all of my reviews I want you to answer some questions.
1.Do you like MMORPGs?
2.Do you like realistic graphics?
3.What kind of MMORPGs do you like? (if you like them)
If you answered 1.yes 2.no 3.Fantasy, THEN DING DING DING! THIS GAME IS FOR YOU!
Alright, so you got your account, you’ve installed the game. You start it up, pick you race, etc. And “Enter World”, “Woah, i have no clue what to do! I’m going to run around and explore!”. If that is your first reaction, pay no attention to it and go to the guy with a yellow Exclamation point over his head, read what he has to say and do the “Quest”. Trust me, you’ll level faster, once you get higher levels you will just grind (grind-In a video game, to do a part of the game very quickly to progress through a better part.Thank you urbandictionary.com :D). But for now, stick with the quests.
Alright so I’ve set you off in the right direction, now I’m going to rate this game.
Graphics-4-5. I’m not a big fan of cartoon style graphics, but hey! I’ll go with the flow. Of course there are video options so you can change it up. But there are a lot of rough edges and stuff that Blizzard could smooth out.
Gameplay-5-5. Ok, sure you right click on a monster and it attacks for you and you press numbers for spells. But thats not the point, the point is THERE IS SO MUCH STUFF TO DO! Its amazing how expansive this world Blizzard has created is! There is so much stuff you can do, it will blow your mind.
Playability-5-5. Watch out now, if your a hardcore MMORPG there is no doubt you will lose your social life. Hehe, just kidding about the social life part :Oh! Anyways you WILL get addicted to this game, sorry to say that but it is true.
Ok I got pretty lazy with this review so I’m just going to show you a movie, showing basic game play in World of Warcraft.
Note: This movie has some vulgar language, so if you are in the office, school, or around the kiddies DO NOT WATCH! Unless that’s how you roll. Hehe.

The Lord of The Ring Online
This weekend there was a stress test for the video game The Lord of The Rings Online. So I played a little and levelled my character up to level 7, but now I’m a little tired of it. It’s a really good game; there are tons of missions, the environment is huge, the game play is between World of Warcraft and Guild War, but there are too many things to do for me. ;)
So I think it’s a good game for any fanatic of The Lord of the Rings and Massive online multiplayer games. When it will come out it will cost 9$ a month, or what is interesting for those who like the long term you can pay for a life long license.
So here are is the gallery of screenshots I took from The Lord of The Ring Online. Enjoy!
