The 15thmeu testing artillery battery
Well lately the 15thmeu (you could call it a arma clan) is testing a new script in arma which makes battery’s more realistic in arma. I was the forward observer in this video you well not hear me do to fraps. but the well talk about me in the video (i am foster, also known as Sgt. Foster) and it may not be exciting but is interesting. They following contributers to this video (people in the battery Cpl. Hartman, PFC. Buckhana, Cand. J Lee, PFC Hester. Have fun and enjoy.
Arma Combat Operation
I use to be known as a very good player of Arma Combat Operation / Arma Armed Assault. So living up to my reputation in this video I destroy 2 Shilka and 1 BRDM at a 1km distance. The usual distance player kill enemies is less then 800m. So 1km kills were quite impressive in themself. But the funny part of this video is probably the bad taking off after the mission. For some reason, my mouse decided to make my helicopter turn violently on the right making my rotor hit the ground and break. The resulting was that I had a swing that pushed me downhill in a very funny way. So I guess this video show how even in crashing I have talent (in all humility) ;)
ArmA: D-Day Mission
A mission I (Schnitzelz) made for ArmA. I’d thought I’d film it, in a cinematic way and show you guys. I’d thought it would be interesting. There is a way bigger thing to this, I only filmed apart of this mission. After the end of this movie, the enemy falls back, regroups and mounts a counter attack as the U.S. Soldiers hold the town. Well hope you enjoy. Subscribe if you like what you see.
Arma Combat Operation – F-16 mod and Alien Mod
AS some of you may know Arma Combat Operation is a war simulation where you can fight as infantry mostly. But what is great is that you can use many, many vehicles and it’s one of the most active moding community I know. This Video show one of the very hilarious creation of the moding community, the Alien mod that we mixed with the F-16 mod for a greater enjoyment. The result was an explosive fight against those Aliens. So enjoy the show that remind us of the movie Independence day for some reason ;)
Attila’s FAQ episode 2: You think you are better then me?
Why that question?
The goal of that video is to answer the phenomenal number of “challenge” and the few insult (more rare), I have receive over the last years. Many people seem to believe that I put videos on youtube because I would think I’m better then every one else. But I don’t remember saying anywhere during all the last years that I was “good”. I tend to respond positively to every one that tell me that I’m good and I do the same for those that believe I could have played better. The reason being recognizing how good someone is relative to how good you are (or arrogant in a few case). So people should learn to recognize the process of getting better instead of judging a static skill in a fixed time in a video.
The Morality behind the answer of the video
Now beyond the cause of why I did that video there is also the aspect of how I replied to this well acted question. “Attila” didn’t shooted the guy to demonstrate something that I believe is one of the most important aspect of multiplayer games. It’s the socialization skill and capacity to do teamplay, form alliance and friendship. I think it’s a really important skill when it comes to multiplayer games. By experience when every player play by the rule and act with maturity and use a “respect full” language. The multiplayer experience is really improved.
I remember a game of Halo where one player alway typed in the chat “FU” “wtf” etc. each time he was kill. So basically that was all that was happening in the chat… So at some point I got tired of seeing soo many time those word in the chat and told him that instead of insulting every one he should compliment them. After some talking he accepted. So he started complimenting those that killed him, the other started answering back and complimented him back, when they were kill by him, then people started chatting, joking, talking about fun stuff. In clear it switched from a chat full of anger to a very friendly chat that every one seem to have enjoy far more then the previous round.
So the way you approaches the other players is as important as you capacity to win in order to really enjoy the game. By experience the more you enjoy the game the better player you will be. Respect your friends and enemies and spread the positive gaming thinking to improve your own gaming experience!
On the technical aspect of the video
The goal of this video was to smart and more entertaining due to sound effect. (It really hard to be funny with sound) Special thanks to Schnitzelz for the voice acting part. Keep leaving questions, I will try to answer those of public interest in the future episodes. :)
Attila’s FAQ Episode One
Since I always get question I was thinking I should do something about it. Something fun and entertaining. So here is a kind of Test Episode for the Attila’s FAQ series. I don’t know how many of those I will make, but the idea seem fun so far. Basically I will try to answer some of the most asked question I had in one and a half year. I will try to make it interesting and entertaining and potentially with some humor in it. But of course can’t promise anything. Tell Me what you think and if you have interesting or funny questions that you think would worth a interesting answer, well ask. ;)

THE DYG COLLABORATION VIDEO
Armed Assault: “El Hakim- The Beginning”
This is a video I just recently made, and is the beginning of what i plan to turn into a series. I have posted it on Dateyourgame.com, because it’s a fantastic website which i have begun checking daily for great videos. So, i decided to make a contribution of my own to Dateyourgame, and post my newest video I hope you enjoy!
“El Hakim, a man who once served as a Colonel in the Turkish Armed Forces has moved to the remote island of Sahrani, an Island being demoralized by a conflict between the Northern island, and the Southern island. The United States has sent peacekeeping forces to the Island to ease the situation.
But, El Hakim has taken upon a deep hatred for America when his father was murdered in Iraq when driving through the city of Al Basrah. He has raised a small army of mechanized forces, as well as experienced special forces, and he plans to attack a vital American M1A1 Abrams convoy, and cripple the American’s push to the city of Paraiso.”
Arma Combat Operation – POWs Logistical Challenge.
This video show the even of the 21/08/07 where the unexpected happened in Arma Combat Operation, after fighting cities after cities this is the kind of thing that you don’t expect. All the soldiers defending Masbete had surrender. Leading to an interesting operation to lead all the Prisoners of War to the main POW camp on the other side of the map. It was very long, probably took an hours to lead all of the 70 prisoners to the camp. But it was interesting to see. :D
My theory about what happened is that I flew a A-10 over the cities and destroyed Shilka around the place, and I destroyed some radio tower leading to this interesting bug. I think this kind of bug really does show an unexpected side of games and it’s alway cool that such bug happen. Leading the player to play a role that wasn’t originally plan. I also found that really interesting to see the impact on the “war machine” that such event had. It probably took us 4 or 5 hours to clear all the other cities, but the fact that we had to transport all the POWs totally halted or fast paced advance. We mobilized a lot of resource and time to take care of the prisoners. Now just imagine how much resource a real POWs would take to a real army? I think you could nearly develop a strategy that use POWs to immobilize your enemies… ;)
Arma Combat Operation Multiplayer
Arma Combat Operation is really realistic in multiplayer so here is some of it. One of the cool feature you can see here is the missile tracking it’s really cool. But It made me crash a couple of time, so I highly recommend not using it. ;)
You can also see me aiming bad with the sniper followed by some teamplay. The final tank playing is actually from single player of the same missions as the previously posted Arma video but in the role of a tank crew. (it’s alway fun to use those big toys)
Arma – Combat Operation / Armed Assault
Here is some gameplay of Arma in single player, this missions isn’t really hard depending the role you choose to play, being a support is probably the hard one but what is really cool about this game is the scale of the battlefield and the diversity of tactic you can use to achieve victory.
Arma Combat Operation Dawn of the Yomie Zombies
I have Arma Combat Operation (Arma Armed Assault in Europe) since a couple of days now. It’s a kind of War simulation shooter. It’s very realistic. But what can be better then turn a simulation game into some funny zombie hunting fun.
This is a video I created base on a missions that took me 2 min to create thanks to the Dawn of the Yomies template. It’s a mod that allows you to create zombie missions. The guns have moded sound from FDF_Sounds mod, mixed with some of the sound I like. The music comes from the games music. This Dawn of the Yomie Zombies end up with my Death. :D
Enjoy. :)
Arma: Combat Operation (US) Armed Assault (EUR)
In the coming weeks I should get Arma: Combat Operation. It’s a first persons shooter but not really a normal FPS. It’s more a War simulator. There is a military version of that game use by armies for soldiers training. It’s promise to be a challenge (finally) and I hope to record interesting stuff from it. It’s really a one of a kind game with an impressively small but active community with tons of mods around so I hope I will enjoy it for a long time and if you guys would be interested to play with me (when i get it) well you can buy it from the dateyourgame stores.
Here he me playing a custom mission in the Demo.
(here is the gametrailers version for those that have trouble with youtube)
Here is an other video created by Dslyecxi with his really skilled group of players. (Those guy really play like a real soldier, really impressive.)
This video is a coop mission 40 player vs 250 enemies AI. :D
