Finally, the voting period is over for the Men of War Video Contest and the data collected by the poll system have been analyzed by the Dateyourgame’s Elite Datamining Squad! It has clearly been a heated voting process.

We would like to thank and compliment all the participants who created videos for this contest and congratulate the six finalists who were chosen by a jury from Dateyourgame and Digitalminsoft and will earned a participation prize!

We were agreeably surprised by the number of participants. Some finalists have clearly been able to mobilize people to vote for their video, which is exactly the kind enthusiasm and community participation we were looking for! We wanted you to share your passion for Men of War with the most people possible and we think that this goal has been reached!

Also by using an open voting process we had two objectives:

• To chose the Grand Prize Winner, who will receive a Men Of War copy signed by members of the Men Of War Development team.
• To give one copy of MoW to two registered Dateyourgame members who voted.

To do so we tried to use the most democratic process by allowing anybody to vote. It was then possible to participants to use their social network to promote their videos and increase their chance of winning the contest.

By doing so we knowingly exposed the voting process to some sort of abuses. To reassure the finalists, the voting system we used has known vulnerabilities easy to exploit that we were aware of. We were hoping that all the participants would play by the rules, but as some have noticed, it was not the case. Does these behaviors affected the end results. The answer is: NO.

Since we were expecting that kind of situation from the start, we were able to detect fraud by allowing the behavior during the voting process. Like an IT strategist said: “Turn a Security Weakness into Security Enhancement”. In clear, the announced results were cleaned of all the invalid votes. The following table includes the results for Registered members and Guest users.

You will notice that DJ Szopen had obviously a quite effective strategy to bring Guest users. But it wasn’t enough to compensate for amount of appreciation the IIIYURYIII’s video earned when Registered members and Guest Users are considered all together.

We declare IIIYURYIII the Winner of the Men of War Fan Made Videos Contest and you can see why by watching his video!

Men of War Fan Made Videos Contest: Vote for the grand prize finalists and win a Men of War copy!

For the last few weeks, Men of War community members have created and submitted videos for the Men of War Fan Made Videos Contest on Dateyourgame. Now it’s time to release the 6 videos selected by the Dateyourgame and Digitalmindsoft crew for the final vote by the Dateyourgame members.

Video about battle for Caen in june-july 1944 fought by British against Germans.

This is my second and last fanmade video. It was inspired on Operation Citadel (Battle of Kursk).
I have made a good research before this video to achieve the best result.
I tried to use historically accurate weapon and situations, like Russian artillery strike on German positions before the operation main objective begins, the heavy Russian defenses, panzer Kiel formation, heavy minefields, elephants being annihilated by infantry and tanks burning like torches. Finally the retreat of the Germans.
This video is a non stop action – it´s a must see video!!

This is an in-game video from Men of War. It shows the general allies offensive on all fronts.They use the heavy artillery barrage.Germans are totally surprised.Their defenses are turning to dust.Only Japanese are still withstanding the American offensive.Thousands of artillery missiles are falling on the axis positions.The end of war is near.

In this video you can see how great is Men of War.The physics, graphic and everything else are on the very high level in this game.

Note: watch the video with volume set louder than normally, because the music is quiet a bit.

This in-game video is made for the best fanmade Men of War video contest.It shows the great rts game, Men of War.It’s very realistic.You will see here a lot of explosions, dynamic fights and other fascinating scenes from the game.Watching this video you can see the Soviets, Germans and Allies in action.

This is my first Men of War video. All content are from the game. I used my imagination to create a surrealistic version of the oppening phase of  Operation Barbarossa. It´s full of explosions, close up takes, and many discreet effects. If you like it, please, vote for me.

Evilsausage presents his first contest video for Men of War.
I wanted this movie to capture what I thought was great about the game.  The suspense, the action, the stealth, and lets not forget the tanks!
I made this movie during the Easter holidays. Iit took some time to learn how everything works, but it was really fun.
So sit back and enjoy this World War 2 action movie!

Here is my 2nd video, it is a fusion with the 300 trailer and something I thought it would be a good idea to make this considering the cut scenes suit it so well.  It’s done entirely with in game cut scenes, with the theme from the 300 trailer.  Enjoy!

This is a video I made using the Men of War editor. I am complete nub at it, and my ambition for the project lasted only a day; after which I decided to wrap it up. I tried to hide the HUD as much as possible, it may not be your typical in-game video but that’s only because I wanted to make it a bit different. Sure there are bugs, and some stuff is overdone but only to enhance cinematic effect. :D

This is a video showing a Men of War super weapons against a a well design line of trench. The result is an explosive video. This video is the result of an idea me and AceWombatZero had not long ago, making a fictional WWII super-weapon. I hope this video will be Part 1 of a series. Enjoy!
