Recreation of the spartan fight at the Battle of Thermopylae.
The gameplay is footage from Rome Total War. I used the Battle Editor to make an accurate interpretation of the map.
I drew alot of inspiration from the film 300.

Okey guessing you mean from the movie 300 and not the actuall event.
Since in reality there were more then just 300 spartans. A few thousand greeks where on thier side aswell.

Just i quick run over from the 300 movie.
1) The Spartans got there and then Meet about 1.000 Greeks to help them
2) Where are persian archers (from the line “Then let your arrows darken the sky.” or omething along the lines.
3) the Persians went in waves. 1st light infantry (light leather armor with sword and/or spear) 2nd Heavy Infantry (thin bronze or thick Leather with a Wicker Shield with a spear most likely. 3rd the “Immortals”. Once they were turned back the King sent all troops on 3rd night/4th day.

RUBBISH – Not in phalanx formation, positioned in the wrong place as they should have been slightly round a curve in the hill side (and there was one behind you!), where you had the Spartans they could have been surrounded on the seaward side.
