The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - The Forlorn Watchman

Wednesday, June 13th, 2007

This is a small video showing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - The Forlorn Watchman Quest. It’s not a really hard quest overall but it’s a cool story from oblivion. The main ghost is really hard to kill depending you equipment. I’m just a level 2 character at that point. Enjoy :D

The Elder Scrolls Oblivion Gladiator Fight

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

Here is a really nice video I posted a long time ago. It’s a gladiator fight in the Arena. I don’t remember what level I was when I created that video but my guess would be probably under 10.

I must also say that after playing playing Oblivion 164 hours a long time ago. I do know level actually doesn’t mean much about how strong is your character and I now use a far different way to level up then the one everyone use. It takes me far longer to level up, but my character become far stronger then the enemies he fight over time.

My approach to the levelling is that I specialize my character in every skill he rarely every use. That makes him level up slowly. But my secondary skill keeps improving. So when I level up, in fact my character is already far stronger then enemy new enemies that will appear as a result of your levelling up and your bonuses from levelling are all +5. So your character will be stronger overtime then a character that level up quickly by using the normal way to think levelling up.

Just a small trick like that I thinked about. Use it or not. ;)

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Panoramas

Tuesday, March 20th, 2007

Many months ago I’ve created some cool Panoramas of different games with a very old technology that is now really rarely used anymore. So to see those Panorama of the video game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion you need to have Quicktime. You simply have to put your mouse over the image, click on the image, it will load the panorama, then once loaded click and drag horizontally to rotate! (A small hand will appear to tell you you can) I used a computer from 1995 to do that. Long live the good old MacOS 8.6… ;)

This first panorama of the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion was taken on the high ground in the North; you can basically see the entire valley from there. My character was a level 43 at that point and this armor wasn’t the best but I was tired of the ugly devil armor type.

This second the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion panorama was take in the imperial city; I think it gives you a nice idea of how great are the graphic. And note that I only had an ATI 9800pro at that moment, now with an ATI X1600pro it looks far better. :)

This third panorama of the good game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion show more the forest area, really nice looking game. :)

If you want to see them bigger you can you can see The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion panoramas on my French site enjeuxvideo.com

I will probably put more QTVR in the future for other games… stay tuned!

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion A Knife in the Dark
The Dark brotherhood is one of the main guilds of the Oblivion world and it’s by far the best. In this first mission you start by killing a very easy target but over time it gets more and more interesting.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Quest Zero Visibility is actually a very little quest without much lucrative interest, but it’s another example of a creative and funny quest in the game
