Being the fruit of the colonization. Those country are excluded of the world wealth and looked on as useless by the rich. Those countries are being excluded from all what the modern world can offer. So by saying Canada is a Banana Republic I mean that the developper of games consider us as an useless country that doesn't worth the bother to invest in. in that case by sharing a beta.
