300 - Mount & Blade *updated*
The 300 Mod for Mount & Blade has been updated lately. Seem they really did a good job.

Today I checked mods for Mount & Blade since I didn’t checked them in a long time and I found the mod Thermopylae that you can find here
It’s really fun and is still in an alpha stage for the moment so, it will be improved in the future, seem promising 
Note: just put the folder into your module folder of the game and when launching the game, change native mode to the mode.
I also use the Warrider Soundpack

Yeah that game is just great, might not have the best graphic on earth, but it the gameplay is really great. I’m already tired of Medieval II Total War, but I still enjoy Mount & Blade.

well in the game you can set the number of soldier up to 40 at the same time on the battlefield. But there is a mod that allow you up to 1200 soldiers… but it can kill your computer… So use carefully.

ok i downloaded to my desktop, i opened it and i doubled clicked the installer. it said “Please put this program in your M&B directory and run again”. so i went to my computer went to (C:) and opened Mount & Blade and put it there. I clicked the installer and it pops up again.

well i don’t know, I only got to lvl 32 and that’s already a strong character in my opinion
My guess would be that it just allow you to continue playing since there is no point at stoping you from playing at that point

in character (c) click stats, then export, then in the mod create a character with the exact same name, and important you exported character.

in the movie tab, you have two choice, detect best sound input or use windows input, try both also make sure the record sound thing is activated.

well i don’t think so, there is a “reputation” system in the game but i’m really not sure how it work… Maybe when it will be more advanced that might change… but i really don’t know

there is a mod that allow you to set the soldier limit to 1200, it isn’t a good idea…
but officially the limit is 40. (so get the mod)

You can download a trial, this trial is in fact the full game. You need to buy a serial to unlock the full content.

first= To play the new version, do you have to get a patch? Or do you just download the current one?

just download mount & blade 0.808 and should work with the latess version of the mod.
You don’t have to level up in this mod since the only goal of it is to recreate something similar to the movie =)

ok thanks by the way. if you have the kindness can you send me the link, where exactly mods you downloaded. i search mods in this link http://www.mbrepository.com/modules/PDdownloads/ but it has some problems. i downloaded the 300 but sometimes i left the town, i got an error. i found about 7-8 good mods but even if i read the comments, someone wrote that there is an error. so i saw your movie, and i thought that you would’ not have a problem. do all mods have problems?

well depend the mods, make sure the mods are compatible with the game version you use, some mods only work on earlier versions

well mod are mod they can crash, there is also many mods that don’t work with 0.808. so anyway, check the forums and check what people say. no other ways.

Ignoring something doesn’t make you dumb
if the mode you downloaded is a folder put it in the module folder of your mount & blade folder.
if it is a .exe double click and install it in the path recommended (if you installed the game in the default folder.

I can tell what the problem is :/
It says C++ error ASSERTION FAILED there are 3 options Abort retry and Ignore. I pressed ignore and it wont work!!!!!!!! Please tell me what to do.

that was the version 0.951 without mods, (i was a lord, this is why i had nice looking shield and armors.)
As for your error i don’t know what to say and would recommend seeking help on the official mount and blade forum where they can most likely help you with that matter.

if you have the 1.0 version i don’t believe mods work “yet” we will have to wait a while for modders to adapt their mods to the game
