At that point I advance against Venice to kick them out of the continent for good. In this siege I use the same tactic as the the now famous German Chronicles Hell Gate episode. That means using the enemy defence against themselves. Very effective tactic.

hmm well seem to have worked fine for you, but seem a risked strategy to me. By making you formation that tin you reduce you tactical flexibility and the enemies can flank you easily. Of course legionnaire will last longer but with other troop I would not take the risk.

Well at that point, you are better to be excommunicated, this way the pope can’t complain anymore

ok thx, my main strategy is to knock as many of the “barbarians” out as possible considering that they have a great charge bonus, also cutting them down their morale.
