Medieval II Total War: Holy Roman Empire Chronicles 03 Turn 09

At that point, not much to say on the campaign level. But I would point out the strategies I use that lead me to this battle for Venice. There is one Venetians unit on the bridge and a garrison in the city. Knowing that I knew that crossing the bridge would not be much of a challenge. Also I knew that the city garrison would come help defend the bridge, but they would come too late, allowing me to engage them in an open field battle. As you can see it wasn’t too hard, but it was important since by exterminating my enemies it allowed me to capture the city without having to siege it. I learned this strategy from the computer in fact. ;)

    should work fine now

  4. Kinshasa Says:

jah but if one of the enemy units is able to run away, you still have to siege the city :D

  5. Attila Says:

well I think when you kill a certain % of the enemies, the game consider they are dead. So in the next video I will capture it without fighting.

Hey Attila, keep up the good work. Sorry for the off topic post but i need a computer upgrade badly… Planning on geting a whole new computer just to keep up with the times. Since you seem to be in the know how of these things do you have any suggestions on where or what to get. I have been told many times to buy the parts and have some one assemble it for me or do it myself but I have no idea where to begin. If you feel inclined to help please do.

    (but only when hes finished)

  13. Attila Says:

Hmm seem I spoiled you guys a little too much ;)

As for your question Sean well it depend your budget. tell me how much you have and I can advise you what you should get. Aslo tell me what is you current computer, maybe you can just update it

  14. Sean Says:

well… My current “Performance” specs (whatever that means) are
Intel Pentium 4 processor with hyper threading technology
    processor speed 3E GHz1
    800 MHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache
    Microsoft xp
512 mb ram (I need more I know)
    PC-3200 400MHz DDR
I also have a Nvidia 6500 or something like that, I hope that made some sence.

  15. Attila Says:

Did you tryed Medieval II Total War demo with that?

  16. Sean Says:

I can play the game but the lag during battle is something I just hate, It is playable but barely.

  17. Attila Says:

ok and how much budget do you have?

  18. Sean Says:

Anything really I am flexible… if possible keep it reasonable

  19. Attila Says:

well a good computer can be from 800$ to 3600$
also tell me what future game interest you and if you can still wait for some month

  20. Sean Says:

I will have to wait for a few months, heh money dose not grow on trees.

  21. Attila Says:

well I think waiting some months is the best thing, because directX 10 card will come out for vista and that will allow you to get great graphic then if you had a directx 9 card. since those card are not out right now I cannot really tell you what to buy. but it probably will be a computer of

3ghz and more, maybe 3 gig of ram and more, and a good 3dcard.

  22. CTU Keyes Says:

    3 ghz and 3 gigs of RAM…thats powerful : P
    I def need an update.

  23. Attila Says:

yeah it is, but even those spec are very humble considering what some people say about vista and future games. So it very much depend if you want to change your computer every years or at least make it last 2 years
