It’s all about look? Show off or blend in?
This is a guide about video games and the look your character has. This guide explain the advantage of having a special looking character over a normal looking character in relation to how skilled you are. Character appearance is an aspect people don’t always explore with an actual strategic mind set, this is probably not helped by such game like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 that offer a clone war. When it comes to in game action it becomes very important. Every detail that make you stand out and make you identifiable can be important and play in your favor or make you a target. So how you look is important in many games such as Mount & Blade Warband, Halo series, Rainbow Six Vegas, F.E.A.R and many more
Men of War Assault Squad Skirmish Operation Battle Axe in Coop
This is the first video of probably many video to come from this new stand alone expansion of Men of War.
Men Of War Assault Squad at the time of the recording is still in beta and yet to be publish in a few days/months to come. So what you see here is work in progress and if you see bugs, they should be fix by the release.
Men of War Assault Squad stand alone expansion offer a new kind of single player call skirmish and this video actually show you a full game of skirmish in coop with 3 players (you can also play solo if you want).
The objective is to capture all flags on the map. Each of those flags gives you more resource and give you access to more expensive equipment to continue your push forward into the enemies lines.
In this case the mission Battle Axe is in North Africa, we play the British Army against well entrench German defender. The final game will offer you to fight skirmish missions in 15 different maps with the USA, UK, Russia, Germany and Japan. Each map offer different kind of challenge and environment and the fun part is that the action is rarely the same each time you play it. The gameplay also allows a great diversity of gameplay style for all kind of player. If you like being sneaky you can do so but at the same time if you like large scale assault you can make a glorious charge. So it’s a lot of fun no matter the style of strategy you like.
Now some people that have Men of War may wonder what is the difference of this expansion as oppose to the original Men of War?
Well there is a lot of difference, essentially from my point of view this expansion is turning a good game into a great game. Assault Squad simply doesn’t feel like Men of War anymore, it feel better.
The graphic have been improved a lot. The squads system has been redesign greatly with a diversity of squads. The soldiers load out has been diversified and totally rebalanced. Infantry now play a much more important role into multiplayer and coop battles. Making a good use of tank require much more strategy. Heavy Tank are much more rare on the battlefield. The Artillery and mortar system has been change toward a barrage kind of strike. In clear the this expansion put you into a much more believable combat environment where tactic is how you win a battle instead of being won by who have the biggest tank.
Since this game isn’t out yet, I would recommend you guys to join the Steam Group.
