Life is fun….especially virtual life and there’s no better evidence of that then the SIMS 3….why are they so successful i don’t know really but i’m a bit glad that they are.

This is the second installment in my Pokemon Emerald Walkthrough. I will not be posting these on dateyourgame as soon as I put them up so I don’t clog the homepage with my stuff. I catch my second pokemon in this video and it’s a zigzagoon. I am using a zigzagoon because of the normal type and the pickup abbility. I have 5 episodes up and around 3/4 of the game recorded. I will be posting them when I am done the recording most likely. Pokemon games are extremely strategic if you were wondering why some would make a pokemon game runthrough. They require a good amount of strategy if you wish to actually succeed in them. I have been playing these games since I was quite little so I have a bit of a knack for them you might say.

There is a rumors on the web about the announcement of the sequel of Left 4 Dead at the E3 Next Week.

Base on the few information available the zombie killing fest would take place in parallel story line (There was a story??) of the original Left 4 Dead universe and of course in the same city.

This means that Valve plan to introduce four new characters into this zombies fill universe and you can expect them to fight their way through four new chapters. This probably means some new style of environment where zombies have a tendency to regroup in.

The rumor goes on as saying that you will also have access to new weapons including some for close and personal fight with the zombies like baseball bat, axe and chainsaw in clear, great tools to fight a horde and potential new enemies.

This is a video that demonstrates the evolution of a city from start to finish. From just a shell of empty zones, public buildings and utilities, the city develops into a bustling metropolis of tall skyscrapers and complex high tech industry. Sit back and watch this happen.

In this video I get through the beginning story and choose treeko as my starter. I chose treeko because I wanted a bit of challenge plus I don’t see many treeko runs out there. I used camtasia to record this and the Visual Boy Advanced emulator. I will be posting the rest of this run currently there is only 4 videos but I have got somewhere around 13 videos of footage recorded. I will be periodically posting these on Dyg after this weekend.

This is my review of Left 4 Dead that I experienced during the Freaky Friday. In this review you will see some coop and some adverserial gameplay and some amazing cutscene from the game. I hope you will enjoy!

This is my second and last fanmade video. It was inspired on Operation Citadel (Battle of Kursk).
I have made a good research before this video to achieve the best result.
I tried to use historically accurate weapon and situations, like Russian artillery strike on German positions before the operation main objective begins, the heavy Russian defenses, panzer Kiel formation, heavy minefields, elephants being annihilated by infantry and tanks burning like torches. Finally the retreat of the Germans.
This video is a non stop action – it´s a must see video!!

Third Age Total War is a mod for medieval 2 total war’s expansion pack: kingdoms. It’s a total conversion mod which let’s you play as one of the factions in the Lord of The Rings universe during the period where the movie trilogy is situated.

The mod contains a campaign, custom battles, online battles but not (yet) historical battles. I’d like to see some historical battles like the battle on the fields of Pelennor.

The campaign is of course still the same concept as Medieval 2: You have cities and castles, you construct units and use them to attack other factions. The campaign map is completely transformed into Middle-Earth and you can play as the good factions (Gondor, Rohan, Silvian elves, High elves, Dwarves, Dale, Eriador) and evil factions (Harad, Isengard, Orcs of the misty mountains, Rhun, Mordor).

The thing I love about the campaign is how they transformed the pope system of medieval 2 in a system where Sauron controls all the evil factions. Sauron is ‘the pope’ and there is a system of how much the Dark lord appreciates you. You can get more appreciated by attacking good factions and completing missions. There can also be called invasions on the good factions which replace the crusades. If you are much appreciated by Sauron you get gifts of money. The cities on the campaign map are far away from each other which makes you able to play more field battles which is a positive point in my opinion.

I still got some problems with the campaign: The campaign map doesn’t change in winter when it’s winter (as you can see on the vid). There is too few vaierity in units making you start with weak units and slowly expand to stronger units but you haven’t got much vaierty in armies, like on the vid I only had Snagga hunters and spearthrowers because I could only recruit those guys. The good have no system to fight together making them attack each other while the forces of evil unite and attack them. I don’t like that because in the movies it seemed as the good were the ones in trouble and needed to unite other than evil.

PS: Saruman’s voice isn’t included in the campaign, I added it.

Now the battles. Battles are overal the same as M2TW except you have no gunpowder units which I actually missed for Isengard. Each faction has it’s specific speciality: Rohan has a strong cavalry force, Gondor good infantry, Mordor has large numbers and trolls, Harad have mumakil etc.

The creators really must’ve put a lot of in the units skins. The units just look brilliant and their movements are fluent. The mumakils might be smaller in this game than in the movies but I guess the creators did the best they can to make them as big as possible.

Still some units are overpowered: The trolls are way too powerfull and can’t be taken down easily with any weapon, no arrows, swords or horse can kill it. Except with artillery you can kill them but then you really need to have a good shot. Apparently the 1.1 patch made the trolls less powerfull in defence but gave them the Rome berserker power which some people find actually made them even more powerfull :P

Mumakil are also slightly overpowered, they can only be killed by long spearmen like the Gondorian citadel guard or artillery. They don’t run amok of flaming arrows.
So here’s an online battle I did with Adrian, also a huge LOTR fan but not such a frequent medieval player. This online battle demonstrates mainly the power of the trolls.

Conclusion: Third Age Total war is a beautiful mod that makes you experience the world of LOTR the total war way. It has some bugs but most irritating bugs are fixable. The creators have a big team plus they are supported by a huge fan community which will make them improve this mod more and more.
If you call yourself a LOTR and medieval 2 total war fan I’d advise you to certainly get this mod, you won’t regret it.

This is an in-game video from Men of War. It shows the general allies offensive on all fronts.They use the heavy artillery barrage.Germans are totally surprised.Their defenses are turning to dust.Only Japanese are still withstanding the American offensive.Thousands of artillery missiles are falling on the axis positions.The end of war is near.

In this video you can see how great is Men of War.The physics, graphic and everything else are on the very high level in this game.

Note: watch the video with volume set louder than normally, because the music is quiet a bit.

This is a video of Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943 a RTS aimed to be as realistic as possible. It has notably a realistic view line of sight, realistic gun range and armors damages.

This video shows one mission of the campaign at normal difficulty. The objective is to prevent the German and Italian forces to pierce the pass until the British tanks reinforce the line.

As you see, the trench lines on the left flank felt very fast. So while I’m moving into a good position to kill the enemies, the main Axis advance beyond the allie line of defence, my rear guard get crushed faster than expected by the Germans tanks that seem much stronger then the M3 Stuart, forcing me to take away one of my M3 Lee Tank and send it back to the rear where it turned out to have a perfect angle on the flank and rear of the Panzer IV tank.

As for my main forces, I advanced slowly and carefully against the enemy flow and reached the advanced Allie defense position with cannons that were put to silence by a mortar barrage. To take advantage of those guns, I ordered my men to use the cannons with great effectiveness against the enemies tanks and infantry. I won with some casualties but at least none of my M3 Lee Tank were destroyed.

This is the first US mission of Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943. This mission of Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943 puts you in charge of the defense of a village. If the Germans actually breach your lines of defense they will win this mission. To win this battle the Germans use many support weapons against you like artillery, smoke screen and air to ground support. I decided to customized my army and changed the default M3 Stuart for M3 Lee which offer a greater anti tank punch and a better armor. I also choose not to take any anti air weapon relying only on my P-40 Warhawk fighters to take care of the Germans bombers. I think it was a good choice since the German Stuka didn’t killed much of my forces.

This isn’t a regular mission from Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943, it’s a custom made mission that I’ve created with the ToW 2 Battle Generator, a very cool tool of Theatre of War 2 Africa 1943 that allows you to create missions in less than a few minutes. It’s amazingly simple.

This video has a lot of clips of actual Multiplayer,  some custom maps and a heck load of explosions. This video truly captures the fun of the game, and it’s endless options. This was made with some help from AceWombatZero (mainly for versing me)

You always wanted abit more action with your army men…did you ever play any of the Army Men games ? Well if thats the case you might enjoy this one if you just started to get into RTS games…i mean want to start getting into them :D have fun.

It was freaky friday on steam and you could play L4D for 24 hours (a bit more actually).
I decided to check the game out. The people playing are Attila, Greatdictator and me. Bill is a bot.
You’ll mainly hear dictator on the chat, sometimes Attila. Fraps didn’t record my voice for some reason but that doesn’t make you miss much :) .

I wanted to record and make a vid from some versus too but fraps didn’t want to cooperate :( . I really enjoyed playing as a zombie.
L4D is a very fun game, certainly if you know some people with who you can play. You laugh, get shocked and maybe cry a little tear when one of your friends died (for the sentimental people). It’s loads of fun :D
