A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the DYG crew.

Heres is the last game release for this year waiting for ever sense i saw the first trailer. The console version has been out for a while, but i prefer to wait and get on a pc for the extra graphics boost. Let me just start off saying this, the game is pretty, most of the time. Im a man who loves him self some anti-aliasing. For some reason, during certain cut scenes, they turn aa off it my eyes start to hurt seeing Big bold jaggy black outlines. Another graphic problem, tho not major, is every 5 or so minuets the frame rates goes sluggish like 5 fps for a bout 1 second and a half. Its not my machine, as iv read other people have had the same problem. Again its not major and doesn’t disrupt from the game to much, its just a minor pain in the back of my mine. Now lets talk about the controls. The controls just suck, even the console version. Its not really the layout. Its the cache system they have for the jump ( or should i say the only button you really use for every thing key ). It stores how many times you hit the key, so a lot of times you’ll find your self jumping up for no reason or if you in the middle of a chain you’ll see your self jump off a ledge and committing suicide. Theres also a semi hard learning curve of trial and error when figuring out what does what and how do something and when to do something. after the 1st 2 temples tho, you pretty much get the hang for the controls and how to chain jumps. The next big problem is the combat. it just sucks. not much to say about more then im glad theres not much of it or the game would have been terrible. you have to watch or play it to see what im talking about. The voice acting is another big problem. 1 of the guys off TRS said it best. ” Why does a prince of PERSIA have an L.A. ascent” Thats what i wana know to, its not that the voice acting is bad, its just out of character. Overall i loved this game. defiantly rent it. or ask for it for xmas.
