World in Conflict

Posted by Frankoman On December - 27 - 2007

Hi all, here is a very nice World in Conflict video for you :) It is basically one Multiplayer match, on the map Hillside.

You may notice I have many timings with the music. The good thing is they are all awesome, some which had me saying wow. The bad is some of them are only with minor variations in the music. Oh well, life isn’t perfect, no?

I didn’t do too good that round, I only had 800 points at the end :/ Oh well.

I hope you enjoy this video! And if you want to play online just message me.

Day of Defeat source: dod_strand sniping

Posted by yoeeb On December - 22 - 2007

This is me playing the sniper class on the Dday based map dod_strand, sniping on this map is harder than it seems because you have to look out for enemy snipers and machine guns as the enemy have alot more space to hide than you do. I ended up with 51 kills to 10 deaths.

The Mount and Blade Mod Squad

The Mount And Blade Mod Squad

*original post by xspartanx_myk*

Schnitzelz have been thinking, and we would like to take Mount and Blade to new heights. But two people cant do it, which is where you come in!
We need a variety of people who know or don’t know what they’re doing, but with commitment and some patience with modding tutorials, we could do great things! But first we need ideas and members.

Anyone here on the forums can post ideas, but lets try to make them unique and not just a knock-off of another mod.(ie. a Rome mod, an LOTR mod, etc.)

We also have a variety of spots to fill, please sign up at the forum if you would like to help!

Stronghold 2 – Coastal Assault Map

Posted by Frankoman On December - 12 - 2007

Hello all,
Frankoman here and taking a Crack at a new Stronghold 2 video!

Every since I bought Stronghold 2 (in late 2005, I believe), I had been addicted. Until Summer of 2007, Stronghold 2 was my only true Computer Game, and me, having beaten all 100 or so of my Console games, needed something to do. I had been playing so much, that I had started to learn the best ways to win. The campaigns eventually end and the Skirmish mode gets so tiring and easy. However, the game comes with a very unique and amazing tool: The Map Editor.

From about mid 2006, I had been working with the Editor. As my maps got better, I decided I would post them on a Professional site for Stronghold 2 custom made games. Experienced or not, all are welcome; and any masters may take you under your wing if you seem willing. To my luck, one of the most popular on there named Turtleman took me under his wing, and I learned many small hints and tricks from him. Now, today, I have been dubbed one of the Professionalists in the Map Making field, and have brought two people under my wing.

I had some requests to make a video of me making a map, but never really considered it until now. I needed an idea to make a new Stronghold 2 Video, and this idea came into mind. So, here you are; what was an hour and ten minutes is now six minutes, on speed double x 3. It all flows well, and the music is nice too :)

I hope you enjoy this video, look forward to playing this map soon! I will be making a video of me playing the map (Can’t decide if I want to make it Cinematic or not.. Maybe I’ll do both?), and when that video comes out, I will have it up for download on trusted sites.

NOTE:
This video doesn’t include my Small details and Extras that I put into the map, and doesn’t show the said hour of scripting or said two hours of Play Testing (Play Testing is when you play the map every few missions to make sure that there is no serious over balancing or major bugs, etc).
This is a quick map, however. a Truly good map from me would take about a month to perfect, but for a 5 hour map, I feel it is one of my funnest.

Enjoy!

Sincerely,
Frankoman

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer

Posted by Attila On December - 10 - 2007

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in Multiplayer once again. This is a multiplayer game with arround 41 players as far as I remember. This is possible on PC and it’s most likely a moded server to allow such thing. What is really surprising is that with that many player it’s still playable, thanks to the really solid CoD4 aiming system.

Now some info on the equipment that I had since it seem to alway interest people. My gun Was a RPD.My perk were, Bandolier, Stopping Power and Deep impact. I finished the game with 43 kills and 6 deaths. And I had a 29 kills streak.

Now some minor announcement just to point out for those who would have missed it. The Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare Walkthrough- Act III and Epilogue is completed including, Ultimatum, All In, No fighting in the War Room and Mile High Club level

Call of Duty 2 walkthrough mission 3, level 1.

Posted by alf2142 On December - 7 - 2007

Okay… Lets take a break from the freezing banks of the river Volga, and travel to the hot sands of northern Africa. To the battle at El Alamein.

This is the mission: The Battle at El Alamein. The level The diversionary Raid. In this level you’ll see some heavy trench fighting, submachinguns is the key here, but be aware of your ammo and grenades.

Well… here is part 1.

And here is part 2.

Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare Multiplayer

Posted by Attila On December - 5 - 2007

There has been many request for me to show some multiplayer of Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare. So here is some gameplay where for once I’m using a sniper rifle and I camp. The game ended up 14 kills, 4 deaths. That is an good ratio for a sniper but i had better moment.

It’s really hard to record multiplayer and be actually good. Recording does reduce a lot the fps making it really hard in games such as CoD4 where the core of the multiplayer is speed and reflex oriented.

Anyway, enjoy what you get. :)

Unrest In The Holy Lands

Call of Duty 2 Walkthrough mission 2, level 2

Posted by alf2142 On December - 2 - 2007

Sorry That I haven’t uploaded any videos last week, but Call of Duty 4 have taken all my spare time ;) . Anyway here is the The last level of Mission: Not one step back, level: Railroad station no. 1.

In this level you get more freedom than you normally do in the CoD series. Particularly in the end where You must take out 3 hard points. With so much freedom (to be in the CoD series) you must watch your back, I have often found myself being shot in the back.

Anyway, here is part 1.

And here is part 2

The best part of CoD4

Posted by Tokokono On December - 2 - 2007

Ya, I think this part kicks ass, I just can’t get enough of blowing that guy’s arm off! And then blowing’ the copter pilot’s head into smithereens! It’s AWESOMELY AWESOME! Enjoy folks!

Eve Online: Trinity- Better looking than Crysis…

Posted by fizznfire12 On December - 1 - 2007

Yes… Eve Online, an MMORPG space game, is about to get a LOT better looking. And when i say A LOT, i mean… This game has become Surreal. Really, I’m speechless. I played EVE a while back, and took a break. But when i got the chance to play on the “Singularity” test server, and see Trinity first hand, i was just utterly blown away. Crysis, which appears to be the best looking game today, is DWARFED by the object detail of Trinity. And, holy hell, my frame rate STILL hangs around 50-60 on max detail! Trinity will be available on the main server on December 5th, so i recommend playing a trial account to see it, and trust me, you’ll understand why I’m so amazed. A long time ago, when i thought of what games would look like in the future, i pictured life- like, extremely detailed objects. And, my friends, that future is here :) I put together a quick video just to show some of the graphics, enjoy!

The Burning Baltics: The Pagan Fort

Posted by Master@Arms41 On December - 1 - 2007

This is a factional story. The year is 1250 AD, The Teutonic Order after being informed from their spies have sent three large forces to deal with the Pagans. One of the forts is on the outskirts of the Livonia Province southwest of Riga. The Teutonic order has sent diplomats to Novgorod to ask assistance against the Pagans, but talks are not going well when a severed head of two diplomats have returned to Riga. The Teutonic Order is opening talks now with the Danes. This is only the beginning.

FYI: I’m testing out my ability to apply camera shake and this is my first attempt.
